FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is "The Official Pass" (ticket), and is it mandatory for all events?
The Official Pass is the single access ticket required to attend all paid evening events that take place after 6:00 PM, from July 31st to August 2nd, 2026. It is NOT mandatory for all activities throughout the weekend. All activities and entertainment that take place during the daytime (before 6:00 PM) are FREE and open to the general public. The Pass is strictly reserved for exclusive late-evening events.
Is it possible to buy a ticket for a single evening?
No. The Official Pass is a full weekend package that includes access to all three exclusive evenings (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) for the price of $55. We designed this package to offer the best value and to encourage participation in the entire celebration. Unfortunately, there are no individual tickets available for specific evenings.
Do children need The Official Pass?
Yes, absolutely. The Official Pass (ticket) is mandatory for all persons, regardless of age, who wish to attend the paid evening events after 6:00 PM. Important Note: Since these evenings include an operational bar, strict security and access control measures are enforced. Every individual will be asked for valid identification at the entrance. A distinctive wristband will then be issued based on the person's age, clearly identifying participants authorized or not authorized to consume alcohol.
Will camping be available for visitors?
Yes, camping is available for the weekend (July 31 to August 2, 2026). On-site: at a cost of $75. Please note that these are no hook-ups/no services sites. Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. You must reserve your spot by calling the Municipality at (705) 369-4531. At La Forge in Kapuskasing: Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. You must reserve your spot by calling La Forge at (705)335-4763.
Will a transportation service be available?
Yes! We will be offering a free drive-home service to Kapuskasing or Hearst during the festivities weekend. A volunteer driver will drive your own vehicle, followed by a second vehicle to ensure the driver gets back. This is the safest and simplest way to get home after the celebrations! Service details will be shared closer to the event date.
