The landfill, located on Lambert Street, is open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Note that access is only authorized during opening hours and that only Opasatika residents are allowed. Service providers such as workers must have received prior authorization from the township.

 

The landfill supervisor is on-site to ensure that residents dispose of their waste as directed on signs.

Fees

 

Construction or demolition materials require a fee of $175 per trip (truck).

 

For contaminated soil, one truck trip costs $200, while a semi-trailer trip costs $300.
