No owner, renter, or occupant of a property located in the Village of Opasatika may keep more than a total of four dogs, four cats, or four dogs and cats combined on their property.

 

A reminder of owner responsibilities:

 

• Always have your pet under proper control. Do not let your pet run free in the village or enter private property unless you have prior written permission from the owner.

• Never let your pet make excessive noise affecting neighbours’ quiet, rest, and comfort.

• Pick up and hygienically dispose of your pet’s feces.

• Make sure that your pet is properly vaccinated against rabies, and renew its immunization as needed.
