Garbage is picked up every Thursday morning.

 

To simplify garbage collection, please:

• place all waste in plastic bags;

• put these bags in a garbage bin;

• place the bins on the side of the road, preferably on Thursday mornings.

 

Recycling is picked up every Wednesday morning.

To simplify recycling collection, please:

• do not place recyclables in bags;

• break apart polystyrene and flatten cardboard;

• put your recycling in the recycling bin provided by the township;

• place the bins on the side of the road, preferably on Wednesday mornings.

Note that batteries (A-AA-AAA-C-D) cannot be recycled in your bin. Please take them to the Opasatika post office or to The Source in Kapuskasing.
