The economic development corporation of Opasatika is the municipality's vehicle for promoting economic growth. The Opasatika EDC is responsible for business development, business retention and expansion, and entrepreneurial support.

The Opasatika EDC is committed to improving the economic well-being of residents through the growth and expansion of local businesses and the attraction of new businesses and residents to Opasatika.

WHO WE ARE

The Opasatika EDC is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to business development.
 

We meet our mandate by engaging in the following activities:

  • Undertaking business retention and expansion initiatives

  • Promoting Opasatika as an ideal business location

  • Attracting new businesses to the community

  • Responding to investment inquiries

  • Facilitating the business development process

  • Providing information on incentive programs

  • Attracting and retaining youth

  • Assisting with funding proposals

  • Gathering market intelligence

From site selection data, information on government grants, loans and services to market research and networking opportunities, we are a one-stop source for the most up-to-date and relevant information on Opasatika.
